Vaccines for Children
For those with children in Japan, making sense of and keeping track of the various vaccination schedules of the US and Japan can be very difficult. Many US vaccinations are not given in Japan, which can be a hurdle for those wishing to eventually move their children to American schools. Vaccinations are also especially useful for those who have not been exposed to, or do not want to be exposed to, various non-local viruses.
Vaccines are mainly given to children, hence the title of this page, but the vaccines below can be administered to adults or older children if they have not been administered already.
